Clima desértico. El verano en Iraq es canicular y seco tanto de noche como de día. En invierno, el clima varía según las regiones : los días son suaves en el sur de Iraq y las noches son frías, los días son frescos y las noches muy frías en el norte de Iraq (Kurdistán). Las heladas y la nieve se hacen presentes en las montañas.
